December 5th, 2022 — The First Photos
Our first official photos of Malcolm and Angus. These two were just hours old when this was taken — eyes still closed, dreaming puppy dreams.
The Litter
Malcolm and Angus came from a litter of 8 puppies. But from the moment we saw them, we knew these two were special. Something about the way they looked at us — even as newborns — said "hey, we're coming home with you."
Malcolm was the bold one even then. He'd push his way to the front, demanding attention. Angus was right there watching, taking it all in. Even then, you could see the personalities forming.
What We Brought Home
Those first weeks required some preparation. Here's what we bought before bringing our boys home:
- 🛏️ Puppy whelping box / playpen
- 🧸 Soft toys for comfort
- 🍖 Puppy formula / nursing supplies
- 🌡️ Heating pad for newborns
- 🦮 First collar and leash set
